1.) Q.   What is a DID?

      A.          Direct Inward Dial. A specially configured phone number that will allow for inbound dialing to a direct location. You can have your DID routed through a URI or through a thirdparty
            SIP Account.


2.) Q.   What is VoIP?

     A.    Voice over Internet Protocol. VoIP works by sending voice information in the digital form of packets, rather than in the traditional circuit-committed protocols of the public switched telephone network. This is extremely effeciant as VoIP can deliver Exceptional Voice Quaility for very little cost.

3.) Q.   How do I use my phone number?

      A.       When you origianlly purchase your DID a form is filled out to determine where the DID is to be forwarded to. After this point you can easily change the destination of the DID
by contacting Customer Service, or e-mailing us.

4.) Q.   Can I keep my existing phone number?

     A.        Unfourtunatly not. Our Service does not allow for Phone Number Porting due to the fact that our DIDs are pre programed in our system and are ready to be purchased at all times.


5.) Q.   How can I contact Adam's Telecom?

6.) Q.   What is a SIP proxy?

      A.   Sip is the most common VoIP protocol. These Protocols are used to transmit your voice data during a conversation.


7.) Q.   What advantages does VoIP offer  compared to conventional phone lines?

      A.   VoIP overall can offer Vastly cheaper telephone charges. Save up to 80%. VoIp can be particularly beneficial for internal communication and foreign overseas calls.
VoIP also provides the advantage of portability. As long as you have access to a broadband connection(your softphone or ATA), you can use your phone anywhere!


8.) Q.   What countries can I call?

9.) Q.  Is there a limit to how many minutes I can talk (inbound) in one month?

        A. No, your calls will never terminate due to usage unlike some other providers. Also, you will never be charged by the minute for any call, EVER. Our DIDs are flat rate.

10.) Q.  What is a softphone?

       A.   A softphone is a multi-media application that works in association with VoiP technology enabling you to make calls direct from your PC or laptop. These applications allow you to use your microphone and speakers or heatset to converse.
